Linda T. Mead

Linda Mead has had a long and varied career in publishing, working at such esteemed houses as Dell, Bantam, Crown, Schocken, and Simon & Schuster where she marketed the bestsellers Scruples, When Bad Things Happen to Good People, and had a hand in the acquisition of the Nancy Drew series. Relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, Linda started her literary agency and represented luminaries such as Suze Orman, with whom she co-authored You've Earned It, Don't Lose It, the Harvard Business School, the Harvard Crimson, and the international television personality and Chinese chef, Martin Yan. Soon after, Linda continued a career in writing non-fiction books, some in conjunction with major personalities: Investing With Giants, The King of Color and Uptick: From Wall Street to Wine.

Linda promotes such causes as Pet Therapy with the Humane Society and runs a book club at the county juvenile detention facility in conjunction with the San Mateo Library system. In her free time, Linda likes to travel and paint watercolors.
